 Well I have some exciting news...

I have not long opened my Etsy shop...

So a lot of my images will now be downloadable from there, I hope you can pop in and have a look. I have only just opened it so a little sparse at the moment, so I better getting cracking on uploading more images.


Meet the Flower Power girls





This is Lily, and she is available to download. I completed the project by printing the Digi image and colouring it in with alcohol markers. Highlighted the image using a uni-ball white pen. The background was made using Tim Holtz distress ink, wild honey and VeraFine CLAIRE Verdant. The stencil I used is from Dolly Dimples. Finally a black pen to create the pattern around the edge and dots and squiggles. 




 


This is Sunny, she too is available to download. I completed this project the same as Lily, the distress inks I used were by Tim Holtz, wild honey and salty Ocean. The stencil is also from Dolly Dimples.






Finally, Rose, also available to download. The project was completed the same as Lily and Sunny, I used Tim Holtz distress inks, wilted violet and festive berries. The stencil is one of Dolly Dimples.

Meet Love.. One of the Festival Dollies.   It's not long now until Dolly Dimples are back on our TV screens on Create and Craft. The new range of stamps I designed for Dolly Dimples are called the 'Festival Dollies' there are 3 stamp sets in all, Love - Hope - Harmony. The girls come with sentiments, worker stamps, butterfly's and lots of funky flowers.  With spring being here and summer only around the corner I wanted to design fun and happy images with a twist of the 70's vibe. The above project was made using the stamp set 'Love' and one of the alphabet templates from Dolly Dimples, which will be on the show. I used my stamp press to get a good image of Love, then using the alphabet template I cut out the letter L. Then fussy cutting the image out and using alcohol markers I coloured in Love and used a white pen to add high lights. Butterflies

I completed this project for the monthly competition on Facebook in a group called Sheena's Ink-ettes  and was fortunate enough to be chosen as the winner. First I stamped part of the steampunk woman's face and when dry I covered this with drawing gum. The background was made using glycerin and Aqua pens, when dry brusho was applied and activated with waster, distress ink, black soot was used on the edge of the card. I used Sheen's stamp day of the dead butterfly rose and a little bit sketchy something in the air coloured with Aqua pens and stamped with jet black Stazon. Hope you like...

Halloween Girl

  As previously with my season girls I drew the design I wanted including all things Halloween. After sketching my Halloween girl I simply coloured her in using Promarkers, her skin coloured was achieved by using the Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. I used a black STABILO point 88 fine 0.4 pen for outlining and a white POSCA pen for highlighting. I personally love the colour purple in her hair and the different ranges of grey that make up the background and her hat. The bright orange and yellow moon give the spooky feel to the picture.
