Well I have some exciting news... I have not long opened my Etsy shop... So a lot of my images will now be downloadable from there, I hope you can pop in and have a look. I have only just opened it so a little sparse at the moment, so I better getting cracking on uploading more images. Meet the Flower Power girls This is Lily, and she is available to download. I completed the project by printing the Digi image and colouring it in with alcohol markers. Highlighted the image using a uni-ball white pen. The background was made using Tim Holtz distress ink, wild honey and VeraFine CLAIRE Verdant. The stencil I used is from Dolly Dimples. Finally a black pen to create the pattern around the edge and dots and squiggles. This is Sunny, she too is available to download. I completed this project the same as Lily, the distress inks I used were by Tim Holtz, wild honey and salty Ocean. The stencil is also from Dolly Dimples. Finally, Rose, also available to download. Light within the Darkness I created this piece using the images I designed for Dolly Dimples - Sisters of Serenity - Strength and Mindfulness. Stamps and one of the moulds designed by BrejanArt. I stamped the image of the woman and Tree of Life first and then while placing a mat over the images, I then stamped the tree and houses. Everything was coloured in using alcohol markers, including the background. I used Hearty Soft clay with the mould, allowed it to dry and then used Silver and gold gilding wax to colour the mould. I then glued the mould to the art work. You can find the Dolly Dimples stamps on Dolly Dimples website http://www.dollysimplescrsfts.co.uk BrejanArt stamps and moulds on Artinspirations website http://www.artinspirations.co.uk/ I have opened an Etsy shop there are only a few Digi images on there at the moment but planning on uploading more over the next week, hope you can pop in. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/AnnMariecraftycorner

Meet Love.. One of the Festival Dollies. It's not long now until Dolly Dimples are back on our TV screens on Create and Craft. The new range of stamps I designed for Dolly Dimples are called the 'Festival Dollies' there are 3 stamp sets in all, Love - Hope - Harmony. The girls come with sentiments, worker stamps, butterfly's and lots of funky flowers. With spring being here and summer only around the corner I wanted to design fun and happy images with a twist of the 70's vibe. The above project was made using the stamp set 'Love' and one of the alphabet templates from Dolly Dimples, which will be on the show. I used my stamp press to get a good image of Love, then using the alphabet template I cut out the letter L. Then fussy cutting the image out and using alcohol markers I coloured in Love and used a white pen to add high lights. The letter L I decorated with paper and stamped with VersaFine CLAIRE ink, using the word and flowers stamps included in the

Sheena and Lavinia together. It's great to be able to play with other artist's products, I have always been a big fan of Sheena and Lavinia, so I decided to create this project using both artists designs. I thought both Sheena's stamp set and Lavinia's stamps went together so well in this project, also using Sheena's stencil. As you can see I have used Ranger Distress Ink and VersaFine CLAIR ink pads as I find the colours really pop. I used a low tack tape to keep the stencil in place so that I could ink it up. I then used a stamping platform to place the inked card inside and arrange the stamps in place. I then added the Lavinia stamps to complete the project. Then using an app on my phone I was able to remove the background from the image for posting on social media as shown at the beginning. Well its a new year and hopefully a brighter one than last year. I'm hoping to post here on here more regularly rather than all these add hock post's, there just never seems enough time in the day what with working, designing, creating, running a family and trying to get down the gym. So fingers crossed I've not long completed the new range of stamps coming out for Dolly Dimples this Monday 17th January 2022. You can see them on The Craft Store at 6pm UK time as the new ODS (One day special). They are called Forest Friends As from my previous posts the concept is the same with regards to sketching the images out and then completing the line art, which in turn is made into clear stamps. I have added a few images below so you can see the various ways you can create your own scenes This character is called Sidney the badger but you can make him into anything you choose This little character is called Ferdanan the frog This is Old Oa

Thanks for dropping in, this collection is called Dolly Tots. I created these characters whilst sitting watching the TV, I wanted cute child like images that would be large on paper but eventually made into small stamped images. Almost like the film Bugsy Malone where the characters were grown up but played by children. The above drawings are quick sketches to get a kind of image I was looking for, I wanted to make the faces cute and doll like so concentrated on the eyes and making the face round. Once I had the images how I wanted them I created the line art from the drawings which would be used to make the stamps. I scanned the images then printed them onto mixed media card and used alcohol markers to colour in the characters so these could be used for the cover art for the stamps. Created worker images to go with the main characters. Also a couple of frames, you can see the coloured frames are the original size and the black and white below are the actual size the stamps are m

So it's Wednesday 7th April 2021 and I'm actually doing my next Blog Yea me.. One of the ranges I designed for Dolly Dimples was Under The Sea, Charmain did have a previous range called Under the Sea with art work by another artist. I was asked to add further characters to this range. Once I started I basically couldn't stop, the character's kept coming which eventually created an extremely large collection. The above is the line art I drew on A4 copier paper, the original sketches are in a journal book that I can't seem to find at the moment, quite frustrating but I'm sure when I'm not looking for it, it will appear. The line art will be used to create the stamps. Once I have the line art finished I then scan it onto my computer and print onto mixed media card. Once printed I then set about colouring it in, this will then become the art work for the cover of the stamp sets. The two stamp sets above are A4 so you can see from my drawings on A4 paper to
